International cinema release of »Manou the Swift«
Animated movie Manou the Swift with music by Steffen Wick and a voice cast which includes Kate Winslet and Willem Dafoe has been released in such diverse countries as Germany, Mexico, Bulgary, Lebanon, Kuwait, Poland, Romania and the Netherlands.

The very first PIANO PARTICLES sheet music book has been published by Bosworth / Music Sales and combines songs from the albums White and Blue as well as some new compositions, which mirror the musical cosmos of the PIANO PARTICLES project.

Winner of international RicordiLab competition
Steffen Wick is a winner of the international RicordiLab competition. Jury members Kristjan Järvi (conductor), Liza Lim (composer), Gillian Moore (music director at Southbank Centre) and Dr. Clemens Trautmann (president Deutsche Grammophon) haven chosen three winners among 217 composers from 45 countries. These composers will be published at Ricordi Berlin-London. Performances of their works will take place with Basel Sinfonietta, Southbank Centre and Staatstheater Cottbus among others.
Musicophilia is a winner of the »Music Theatre Now« competition
The music theatre Musicophilia based on the book by Oliver Sacks is a winner of the »Music Theatre Now« competition for new opera and music theatre, organized by the International Theatre Institute (ITI). 450 composers, librettists, publishers, conductors, directors and concert organizers from 54 countries took part in the competition for premieres within the last three years.
